Bod Dob

This is some of the work of Bob Dob. He does a lot of paintings but also draws. He has his own style of the way his characters are made, with the big heads and small bodies. But there is always a story behind his paintings that make you think a little. I first found out about this artist from a magazine called Hi Fructose and fall in love with all the artwork. I never really saw anybody paint like that and it open my eyes to step outside the boxs and not everything has to look realistic.

Derek Hess

This is an Illustrator that I found back in high school. His name is Derek Hess and I really like his style of art because of the line work. He uses quick line stokes and overlaps the lines to create a shade quality to it. A lot of his artwork is for posters are for bands. Hess has his own style of drawing to not to many people can pull off and I think that is why he is so popular. All though high school me and my friend would look at Hess's artwork and try to recreate it and form his style, but never worked. I still look at his art to get ideas and look at how he uses lines.

Dali

Salvador Dali was an amazing artist who did surrealism paintings. His artwork pushes and breaks the rules of how we see everyday objects. I always loved his style and how crazy his artwork looked. I look at Dalis' artwork often to get ideas and remind myself that its ok if your art is crazy and some people look at it different. As you can see in the picture of Dali he was a crazy man himself, and the picture of the broken clock is one of his most famous painting. I think that was the first picture I saw of his paintings and I just kept staring at it because its so beautiful. All the color and different objects breaking off the clock, you kinda get drawn in looking at it. Salvador Dali has and we always be a huge influence on the way I draw and see objects.
